Dear Ronnie, Wags, Marissa, Dale, Kuz and the entire staff at Camp Tioga (especially the counselors of BUNK 6!)
I just have to say that my husband and I feel great that we made the right decision to send our son, Bram, to Camp Tioga. Despite what one hears (and it was ALL GOOD), you really never know, especially since my other son goes to Pontiac. Nevertheless, it is the BEST decision we could ever have made. He truly had the BEST SUMMER EVER!--he was happy, content, relaxed and enjoyed everything that there that camp had to offer. He made friends, felt good about himself in all respects, got more confident, independent--we are really very proud of him and a lot of it has to do not only with the camp itself, but with the amazing counselors that you selected. We LOVE Tubes and the rest of bunk 6 counselors--they have made this camp experience a positive one in every respect. We were very impressed with Tubes in how he remembered all of us, our names, and even the name of Bram's other brother, who was so enthralled with the camp (even after visiting Pontiac) that we signed him up for next summer. Bram's little brother (Hershey) is so happy, that I have found out from other mothers of his friends who have seen him at Crestwood over the summer that he has been telling them how he is going to Tioga next year.
I know that I am going on and on and probably bored you by now, but my husband and I can't say enough about how great your camp is for sooooooooooooo many reasons--the owners, the directors, the counselors, the facilities--and my husband, who doesn't get impressed easily, was really wowed by the Visiting Day lunch and how casual and relaxed the environment really was (I actually thought he was going to volunteer himself for next summer)--also, EVERYTHING was opened and available to participate in (as opposed to Pontiac)----we are so happy that I have recommended it to several families, and I know for sure that one of them (the Goldners from Woodbury) are visiting you, and I think that the Collets are also.
Again, thank you, thank you, thank you, for giving my son the 'best summer ever' and making the summer before Middle School something that he will always look back on. Thank you to your wonderful Nurses and Doctors for making sure his "foot" was well taken care of.
Ok, I'm done.
All the best, and can't wait for next year–
Belinda Wiseman
